Pediatric Interest Group (PIG)
Mission: PIG is an organization for medical students interested in the field of Pediatrics. We organize holiday parties for the hospitalized children here at LSUHSC-Shreveport. We collect books each October for LSUHSC-Shreveport’s Reach Out and Read program which gives books to children in the Pediatric clinic at their well-child appointments. We also volunteer at different events around the community that benefit children.
